1. Cococabana
Located in one of the best beaches of Hong Kong Shek O Cococabana offers Mediterranean cuisine and a very spacious terrace overlooking the sea. It offers an amazing view and the interior gives you a sense of luxury. Go for a glass of rose there, but not so much for food. It is very overpriced and the price just does not match the quality.

2. Limewood
If French cuisine isn't your thing then go to Limewood, which is located at the famous Repulse Bay. With a very simple and summery interior it offers Hawaiian and Caribbean food with a twist. Their cocktail list shines as much as their menu does, so every one will find something to their taste. Our suggestion: order a bunch of small dishes for everyone to share and loose yourself in cocktails before getting a tan session on the beach.

3. Bathers
If you were planning to go to South Lantau to visit one of its numerous attractions make sure to stop by Bathers. It is a perfect place to escape the city crowds and fully relax before the start of the week. Given its wide range of food and a chilled out atmosphere its also perfect for families. They offer takeaway fish&chips for those who can’t wait any minute to get onto the beach, which is completely understandable - it is irresistible!

4. Treasure Island Restaurant and Bar.
Whether you are a strong supporter of better environment or you are on a special vegan diet we have got you covered! Despite Hong Kong being one of the favourite destinations of meat lovers it can also boast of the quality of the plant based dishes, which some restaurants have to offer and Treasure island is one of those places. ![]()

5. Beach Club Stanley:
And lastly if you don't want to spend a lot of time on commuting and choose Stanley beach as your hot summer day destination then you should definitely check this place out. According to locals they have the best pizza in the area! Grab a cold brew and enjoy the sunset whilst munching on your juicy slice of pizza.
Make sure to pop by the Stanley Market which is nearby for some cultural experience.
