The sight of an old fishing junk boat bobbing gently through the water is one unique to Asia. For years, the junk boat was used as both a home and workplace for many, so we’ve decided to pay tribute to this humble sailing vessel, by not only making it the representative symbol of Māzŭ Resortwear, but also using it to inspire one of our first designs.
The Junk Twilight shorts in this deep blue hue are truly a classic to be added to any wardrobe.

Kami (Boys)

During the 6th century, the paper was introduced into Korea and then into Japan by Buddhist monks. It is in Japan that paper folding became an art form and evolved into what we know today as "origami". Origami paper often referred to as "kami" (Japanese for paper), is sold in prepackaged squares of various sizes. It is commonly colored on one side and white on the other; however, dual coloured and patterned versions exist and can be used effectively for color-changed models.

Pacific Ocean (Boys)

Watching the waves crash softly against the sand and kick up sea foam as it curls upon itself is something we find calming and, at the same time, inspiring. This particular print was influenced by Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai’s famed painting The Great Wave, with its fluid movements and painterly strokes.
The vibrant combination of deep and royal blues on this pair represent the varied depths of the oceans, from the shore to the abyssal expanses.

Pearl River (Boys)

There are only about 60 of these special mammals left in the waters around Hong Kong. In a bid to raise awareness about these animals and their plight to survive, we created this pattern for our shorts. Proceeds from every pair of pink dolphin swim shorts will benefit the Hong Kong Dolphin Conservation Society (HKDCS).
The small grey dolphins on the shorts represent the animals in their infancy; as they reach adolescence they turn their signature pink hue. The jade green colour of the shorts mimic the Pearl River Delta waters the dolphins call home.

The royal blue hue combined with the pink dolphins proves a stunning colour combination fit for a bit of fun in the sun. This particular pair is named after one of Hong Kong’s dolphins, Ringo, who was found caught with fishing line around his neck.

South China Sea (Boys)
