Empowering Women Through the Lens: An Inspiring Interview with Nikola Lines
In celebration of International Women's Day, we had the privilege to introduce you to Nikola Lines, a remarkable individual who has made a name for herself as a model, photographer, and entrepreneur. With her passion for empowering women and her creative eye, Nikola has been instrumental in reshaping the narrative surrounding beauty and femininity. She has worked on a numerous of our campaigns and we are proud to sit her down in this exclusive interview, as we delve into her journey, motivations, and insights, highlighting the incredible impact she has had on the industry.
1. What has been your proudest achievement of your career?
My proudest achievement so far was being invited to take part in a photography exhibition for charity. I felt quite intimidated as the other photographers chosen were all very talented and established photographers!
2. Which women inspire you the most?
My mum inspires me because she is one of the toughest women I know. She has been through some of the toughest things I could ever imagine going through and she still manages to stay strong and positive even through such adversity.
3. What did you dream of doing when you were young?
I used to want to be a forensic scientist - very different from what I am doing now!
4. What do you like most about wearing Mazu Resortwear’s swim shorts?
First of all, the patterns are super fun and second they are the perfect fit and so comfy!
5. What's your happiest childhood memory?
My happiest childhood memory is going to Disneyland Paris with my family. I have such fond memories riding Peter Pan’s flight. To this day I look back at that memory and I feel so much joy.
6. What makes you feel proud of yourself?
I feel the most proud of myself when I’m working. Especially when I get good feedback from my clients! Always makes my day and reminds me that I’m on the right track.
7. What inspires you the most?
I would say my own failures and struggles inspire me the most. I want to keep striving to be better than I was yesterday.
8. What are three words to describe yourself?
Curious, loyal and playful!
9. If you were to go on a holiday today, where would you go and why?
I would go to Orlando, Florida so I can finally visit Disney World!
10. What is your favourite season and why?
My favourite season is winter because I love wrapping myself in warm blankets and having hot bubble baths when its cold outside!
